Based on the theme of a dysfunctional Punjabi family, Dil Dhadakne Do opened to mixed reviews, but a positive word-of-mouth helped it at the ticket window. Its business saw a huge jump on day 2 (Rs 12.27 cr) after a dismal opening day collection (Rs 10.53 cr). Sunday brought an even wider smile on the producers’ faces when it collected Rs 14.25 cr.
