Doctors treating 93-year veteran actor Dilip Kumar at Bandra’s Lilavati Hospital said he would soon be shifted to regular from the ICU. “He is doing well and is being monitored in the ICU. It is likely that he’ll be shifted today,” said one of the doctors.
The actor was admitted to hospital on Tuesday night after he developed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in his left leg, a condition in which blood clots are formed in one or more veins in the body. Doctors immediately administered Heparin to him on the night he was admitted and said he responded well to the treatment.
Moreover, the actor’s Twitter handle uploaded his pictures, stating that he was doing well and thanked all his well-wishers.
