Highlight Story

Director Vikram Sandhu is scouting for a look-alike of late actor Divya Bharti, to play the lead role in his film, Dream. He however, doesn't clarify if the film is a biopic on the actor.

Bharti shot to fame at a very young age with films such as Shola Aur Shabnam, and Deewana. She died in 1993, at the age of 19. The cause of her death remains a mystery.

"I've never said the film is a biopic... All I can say is that it is the story of a young girl who becomes a star at a very young age and also dies at a very young age," says Sandhu, adding: "Divya has been my all-time favourite... We want someone who looks like her."

Sandhu, who is busy casting for his film says he has just come back to India after auditioning. "I've been to London, Italy and Greece to get the perfect actress for my film... We are planning to shoot the entire film in India, London and Dubai."
