RA.One’s release date may be nearing now, but the film’s entire team, under director Anubhav Sinha, is still working 24/7 on its post-production. "The film is complete. Only the finishing touches are on now," confirms Sinha, who had earlier been sure of having the prints ready by September 15, but is having sleepless nights now.

"All big movies get ready just before a week before. It’s a very complex film. Earlier, I had said that the film should be ready by October 15, but it’s still not much of a delay," he insists.

Producer-lead actor, Shah Rukh Khan too, has been checking on the progress regularly. Sinha says, "He comes in the night to get a run-down of what’s happening. Thanks to him, the film has created a huge buzz, which I’m personally not involved with as I’m in the studio all day."

Meanwhile, Sinha admits that his personal inhibitions have been responsible for stalling the film: "It’s ready to go for print, but the way we directors are, I won’t let go till I’m completely satisfied. And since every reel has five versions — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English subtitled and 3D, it’s five times the work."

He also confirms that most of the units working on the film, across the globe, have now been released: "Since not much of the work on visual effects is left, most of the units have been called off. The film is ready. There are very few details left that are being worked upon, and are yet to be locked. Once that is done, we will go to print."
