It may still be a whole year until the release of Marvel’s Doctor Strange but this will surely get us hooked already. Entertainment Weekly released their January 2016 issue cover which dons the star of Sherlock, Star Trek and The Imitation Game, Benedict Cumberbatch, as the superhero.
Though the movie releases only on November 4, 2016, the fans will definitely rejoice on seeing the cover. Cumberbatch sports a frail French-beard and full Doctor Strange costume, medallion and all. The Oscar-nominated actor will play Doctor Stephen Strange, a surgeon who turns into a world-protecting sorcerer.

Doctor Strange also stars actors Tilda Swinton (Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), Rachel McAdams (The Notebook), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave), and Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), all big names in their own right.
On having to learn to throw spells, Cumberbatch told EW “It was like, okay, I’ve got to keep throwing these poses, these spells, these rune-casting things, everything he does physically. I’m thinking, there’s going to be a huge amount of speculation and intrigue over the positioning of that finger as opposed to it being there, or there. And I’m still working on that. We haven’t played any of those scenes yet. I felt really self-conscious. But, then, by the end, it was great. It’s like anything, you just have to experiment.”
The actor and the production team were also recently in Nepal to shoot for the film. Here are some shots:
