The track Bhaag DK Bose… from Delhi Belly has been in the news ever since it went on air. And the credit for its concept goes to Dolly Bindra, the spitfire actor on Bigg Boss 4, whose love of Hindi expletives influenced the movie’s anthem. Explaining the conceptualisation of the song, a crew member recalls, “We decided to take a dinner break and were surfing channels on television. That’s when we were struck by Dolly Bindra using swear words, more particularly'Bo&@#*%@.”

Naturally, the conversation post dinner continued on Dolly’s ‘gaali-galoch’ (tirade of cuss words) and the expletives they heard during their childhood. “Many had heard the phrase Bhaag Bo&@#*%@, Aandhi Aayi (Run *%&#, a storm’s coming) So we decided to use this as the theme track,” chuckles the source, adding “We owe our inspiration to Dolly."

Dolly BindraAkshat Verma, the scriptwriter of Delhi Belly, avers, "We all liked the keywords: Bhaag DK Bose. Not only is it instantly catchy, but is also a part of the vocabulary of today’s youth. Besides, it fit our story concept and song." Not surprisingly, the idea got an instant nod from the entire team, including Aamir Khan himself. "Composer Ram Sampat created and sung the track in a grunge rock style, which is unique compared to what we have heard in Bollywood recently," says the source.
