Modern-day film stars are known to go out of their way to keep themselves fit. So, be it spending hours at gyms, doing Pilates or practicing CrossFit, they follow their exercise regimens religiously. Now, HT has learnt that Shraddha Kapoor has been following a unique dancercise routine for the past few weeks.

“Shraddha has formulated a new kind of workout for herself that she follows when she can’t make it to the gym,” says an insider. Shraddha’s dancercise involves dancing as well as exercising, and it keeps changing on a daily basis, depending on her needs.

Apparently, Shraddha loves her new exercise regimen as she doesn’t have to step out of her home for that. “It can be done anywhere with no specific requirements for machines or expensive equipment,” adds the insider. In fact, since Shraddha has been in the middle of a hectic shooting schedule for her new film, a biopic on Haseena Parkar, her new regime has come “as a blessing”.

The Ek Villain (2014) actor admits that sometimes, it gets difficult for her to make it to the gym. “So, I thought why not work out at home. I call it my dancercise (smiles). It’s a fun way to exercise because I get to dance, engage my body, and listen to my favourite music,” she says.
