One of Bollywood’s hottest and currently single actors — Shraddha Kapoor — gives relationship advice that you can’t ignore!

On the stress of being a single girl
‘What are your Valentine’s Day plans?’, ‘Oh, are you not going on a romantic date? Koi baat nahi (it’s okay), next year you’ll find someone.’ Do I need these things? No. As it is, V-Day special events are all over the place, and such questions only stress on the fact that you don’t have a special someone in your life.

Advice to singles
It’s okay to be single; be happy. Divert your attention, go on a date with your girlfriends and celebrate in your own way. Go and have a blast, just dance it out.

Advice to the committed
Let me just say this to the boy, bill kaafi bhaari hoga aaj (you would have to pay a hefty bill today). But, take your girl to a good place to eat. As the saying goes, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. But this holds true for girls as well. Also, I don’t know how long the girls will take to get ready today, looking for the best thing to wear. But don’t make the boys wait for too long.

If you’ve broken up
You don’t need just one person to make you happy, you’ve got so many people around you, so enjoy your life. Hang in there… you’ll get a date next year.

Take on love and V-Day
Love is the most beautiful thing. Having said that, you should find your own definition of love; don’t let movies and books tell you otherwise. As for Valentine’s Day, it’s a fun day, but it isn’t just for couples, it’s a lot of fun for singles, too. We can also celebrate the love we have for ourselves and our friends.
