Stand-up comedian Raju Srivastav is very irked with the film Double Dhamaal and its producers for stealing his spoofs and stage acts verbatim.

Everybody who has seen Raju’s shows on stage or on screen, is familiar with his Bhai Logon Ka Satsang act, where he imitates dons and locals goons who are losing their terror grip on people around them.

In Double Dhamaal, Satish Kaushik’s character is an underworld don and is fed up of the police chasing him around. He then decides to become a baba (godman), give discourses and earn safe money. “I had even done this act in Laughter Challenge six years ago,” says Raju. “They have stolen this act as well as a few others. And when I called Inder Kumar (producer), he laughed it off as a friendly gesture. It’s a very wrong thing to do professionally.” Double Dhamaal released last week.
