We reported around a week ago that Emraan Hashmi had to take a break from Danis Tanovic's next to do some 'patchwork' for Ek Thi Daayan - scheduled for release in April. Now reports are pouring in regarding the reasons for the re-shoot being held.
Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, Ek Thi Daayan is still being shot even as the release date for the film approaches. According to Mid-Day, the need for re-shoot arose when Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj had 'creative differences' over some of the canned scenes.
Mid Day quoted a source as saying, "Unit folk have been told that there has been a creative clash between the two producers. Ekta wants to make the horror thriller more appealing to the aam janata with Vishal having no option but to let it happen."
The tabloid further reports claimed that certain scenes were re-shot in accordance with Ekta Kapoor's taste.
