Emraan Hashmi's Mr X earns Rs 13.99 crore over weekend

Emraan Hashmi's not-so-thrilling disappearing act with Amyra Dastur in Mr X is making its presence felt on the box office: Since its release on Friday, the Vikram Bhatt-directed film collected Rs 13.99 crore in the first weekend.

Emraan Hashmi's not-so-thrilling disappearing act with Amyra Dastur in Mr X is making its presence felt on the box office: Since its release on Friday, the Vikram Bhatt-directed film collected Rs 13.99 crore in the first weekend.



The film made an opening collection of Rs 4.5 crore on Friday, falling a bit on Saturday with Rs 4.39 crore, and touching Rs 5.1 crore on Sunday.

The film was made with an estimated budget of Rs. 35 crore.

Made at an estimated budget of Rs 5.3 crore, Shonali Bose's film is the journey of self-discovery of Laila, a young woman who is a patient of cerebral palsy. Kalki plays Laila in the movie that received wide critical acclaim.
