Laila Khan, the Pakistani origin Bollywood actor, who was missing for eleven months and is now reported to have been killed one-and-a-half years ago, will come alive on screen.

Capitalising on the recent reports, the makers of the film have now decided to re-release her film, Wafaa, co-starring Rajesh Khanna.

"We are going to re-release the movie this year on television. The producers and distributors have already spoken to a TV channel regarding the satellite rights. This will give a chance to all curious viewers to see who Laila Khan was and how she acted," says director Rakesh Sawant, adding, "The re-release is also a gift to all fans of kakaji (Rajesh Khanna) as he is in hospital and this was his last movie."

He says he’s not encashing on the opportunity. "The film flopped as it released around Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Ghajini," he says.

Khan has also become a rage online. She has been trending on Twitter and hits on YouTube videos of the film have gone up. "Never knew Laila Khan acted with Rajesh Khanna and such sleazy pictures of two .. yikes..," wrote a user, Aria, on Twitter.
