A while back, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani had launched a nationwide contest to search for unconventional talent to be part of their film Fukrey’s promotions. After receiving hundreds of entries, they’ve shortlisted five people who will launch the song, Jugaad from the film. A source close to the production house reveals, “Farhan and Ritesh were stunned to see the kind of talent these people have.”

The winners include Deep Adharvyu, a student who created an air-conditioned helmet which can be attached by a cord to a bike. Students from Mumbai’s KJ Somaiya College, who created a special car, which they call the Jugaad car, that runs 300 km on a litre of fuel, are also part of the bunch. The group also includes Mansukh Prajapati and Raj Shankhalpara, who created Mitticool, a clay fridge that doesn’t need electricity to run.
