With her American TV show Quantico and film projects (Baywatch), Priyanka Chopra has amassed fans across the world. The actor, who has been travelling extensively in the US for her international projects, had a different experience last week.
A source close to the Bollywood actor says she met a few women fans at her office in Mumbai. The girls had been reaching out to her for a while. “Priyanka has one of the largest networks on social media. She received emails from these girls, who are from small towns in India. Many reached out to her on Twitter. They feel Priyanka, too, is an example for every young and aspiring woman. She met a few of them last week,” says the source.
Priyanka apparently met around eight fans, who wanted the actor to share her success mantra with them. “The girls were from Arrah (Bihar), Bikaner (Rajasthan) and some interior towns of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. She spoke to them about the importance of putting their education first.”
Priyanka remained unavailable for a comment, but her spokesperson confirmed the news.
