Actor Geeta Basra, who will soon be seen in comedy film Calling Mr Joe B Carvalho with Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Soha Ali Khan, calls it a mad script.
“It’s a very funny film, full of madness. It is a laugh riot. You laugh simply by seeing Javed Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi on the sets,” the 29-year-old said at an event recently.
“They are mad and the script is such that you don’t need to take your brains to the theatre to watch the film,” added Geeta, who has seen in films like, Dil Diya Hai and The Train.
Last seen in item song Ghaziabad ki rani hoon main from the action thriller, Zila Ghaziabad, Geeta is open to doing more such numbers.
“Let’s see. It’s all about the right set up, right film, right song. Luckily, for me, I got good songs. Although Zila Ghaziabad didn’t do too well, it’s ok.... it’s a good film. And people liked my song,” she said.
“People saw me in a very different kind of look. Very few people have seen me performing on desi songs,” added Geeta who started her career with Dil Diya Hai in 2006, opposite Emraan Hashmi.
