He may have received wide critical acclaim for his performance in Badlapur and ABCD 2, but Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has refuted rumours that he has hiked his fees. "I have not really hiked my fee. If there is a film I truly believe in, then money is not a criteria for me. I'll go out of my way to do that film. I don't do films for money."

Varun said at a special screening of Manjhi - The Mountain Man at a theatre in Mumbai. "It's wonderful. It's based on a real-life story and such films have to be encouraged and I think it could be one of Nawazuddin's best performance," Varun said about the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer.

Directed by Ketan Mehta, Manjhi - The Mountain Man also stars Radhika Apte. The movie is set to hit theatres on Friday.
