In September, Tiger Shroff will start working on his next — a romantic film, in which the protagonist loves dancing and idolises Michael Jackson. In the movie, Tiger plays a slum dweller, who belongs to Mumbai’s Teen Batti area. But, not many know that Tiger’s father, senior actor Jackie Shroff (right), has a special connect with Teen Batti. He was a resident of the area for many years. Since Viki Rajani, the producer of the film, is keen to shoot there, the young actor will visit Teen Batti with his father next month. Jackie wants to revisit the area with his son, and share his memories of growing up there.

“Before Jackie became a star, he belonged to a middle-class family that lived in Teen Batti. He visits the locality even today. Since Tiger plays a resident of that area in his next, he wants to explore the place with his father. The crew will go there for a recce soon. Tiger will visit the area with Jackie once the location is locked,” says a source close to Tiger.

We tried contacting Tiger, but he remained unavailable for a comment.
