Actor Eesha Koppikar, last seen in the film Shabri (2011) is devoting most of her time to her new hospitality company. “I was busy launching my hospitality company in the last two years. My knowledge of the hospitality industry is zero, I only know how to work in front of the camera.
I needed to know about all this and that’s why I was travelling all over the world from January to May this year,” says the actor.
“I did a lot of courses and I’ve established a hospitality company with a friend. Food holds a lot of importance for me, so I always wanted to have my own restaurants and then hotels,” adds 35-year-old Eesha, who is married to hotelier Timmy Narang.
Her concentration on her new venture, however, hasn’t taken away her love for cinema. Currently, she has three films in her kitty. “During the time I was in Mumbai, I read a lot of scripts and I have signed three (films). One film has gone on the floors and I have completed one schedule (of it) and the second schedule starts end of September,” she says, adding: “It’s based on lawlessness and I play an encounter specialist. Then there are the other two films, which start in November and December, but I can’t say anything about them right now.”
