How Alia Bhatt reacted to Deepika Padukone’s picture with Ranbir Kapoor’s parents

Actor Alia Bhatt, who is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor, has reacted to his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone’s pictures with his parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.

Actor Alia Bhatt has reacted to Deepika Padukone’s picture with Ranbir Kapoor’s parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. Deepika used to date Ranbir, who is currently dating Alia. She is now married to actor Ranveer Singh.

The Padmaavat actor had visited Neetu and Rishi in New York City, while she was in town for the Met Gala on May 6. Neetu shared photographs of their meeting on Instagram, and captioned the post, “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth.” Rishi has been stationed in NYC, where he has been undergoing treatment for cancer. Alia, who has also paid Rishi several visits in New York, ‘liked’ the picture on Instagram.

 

Deepika also took to Instagram to share a picture of a bracelet, presumably gifted to her by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, a jewellery designer.

 

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail recently confirmed to Hindustan Times that Rishi is cancer free and would likely be returning to India soon. He said, “Yes, Rishi is absolutely cancer free, now. I haven’t met him but spoke to him over the phone. He called me in the morning [Tuesday] and gave me the [good] news that he has totally recovered from cancer. There’s just a small follow up and procedure that he needs to get done to ensure that there is no recurrence anytime. So, that’s all that is left now.”

Rishi’s brother, Randhir Kapoor said, “Yes, he is much better, and he will come back soon. [On whether he is completely cured], he’s on his way to full recovery and it takes time, he’s got to finish the whole course, but he’s fine.”

During his time in New York, several Bollywood personalities such as Sonali Bendre, Anupam Kher and Priyanka Chopra have visited Rishi. In the past, Rishi has been publicly antagonistic towards Deepika, who had a bitter breakup with Ranbir.
