Designers give us a low-down on how well our girls Priyanka Chopra and Freida Pinta fared at the Oscar Party.

After her impressive Oscars debut, actor Priyanka Chopra bedazzled once again at the Oscar Party. Rocking a sequin and crystal embellished Jenny Packham gown, PeeCee went for a centre-parted pony look with muted makeup. Another Indian-origin star to catch our attention was actor Freida Pinto. While she was drop-dead glamorous in the off-shoulder floor-length Versace dress, her arm candy - polo player Ronnie Bacardi - grabbed a lot of eyeballs. She made her new romance official on the red carpet.

Style experts are raving about their red carpet looks. “I like Priyanka’s look. It’s controlled wild. Just wish her hair was softer and lips not always the point of focus. Freida looked super hot like Liz Hurley. She looks fresh and rides high on contemporary trends. Her half pinned-up hair goes with the look,” says designer Rina Dhaka.

Agrees designer Namrata Joshipura, “Priyanka looked glamorous. After the Oscars, this was another effective look for her. It was clean and minimal. I like the fact that Freida tries to experiment with shape and cuts.”
