After scorching the screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen together for Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Hamlet.
After adapting Shakespeare's Macbeth in Maqbool and Bard's Othello in Omkara, Vishal Bhardwaj is making an adaptation of Hamlet. Incidentally, the veteran director has always maintained that he wanted to make three Shakespearean adaptations. Like his other films, this film, too, will be adapted to suit Indian settings.
If reports are to be believed, Hrithik will play the Prince of Denmark and Aishwarya will play his Ophelia.
A source told Mid-Day, "He has indeed gone to Aishwarya and Hrithik with Hamlet. He is charged about doing the last of his Shakespearean trilogy. In the past, he has approached both Hrithik and Aishwarya. Somehow things haven't worked out. This time, he's determined to make it."
After the success of Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish, let's see if Hrithik-Ash's golden jodi can hit jackpot at box office again.
