With te film ready to hit screens on January 26th, expectations are high and comparisons are inevitable. Still, Hrithik claims to be unruffled, “if you do something in your own individual way, then it will stand out. people will not compare.” says the actor. The 38-year-old has been critically acclaimed for his films, including Jodhaa Akbar in which he co-starred with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and last year’s release, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
The actor claims that he was sceptical before signing the film, but the strong script convinced him to get on board, “Karan Johar being a friend forced me to go through the script. When I read it, I was shocked. As an actor it touched me.I had no reason to say no,” says Hrithik who has teamed up with actor Priyanka Chopra in the film.
