Roshan says he had put on several kilos post his surgery, will shed them for his next action-thriller

Earlier this year (in July), Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery. And understandably, he has had to miss his workout sessions.

Now, as he gears up to commence shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Bang Bang, the actor has a single-point exercise agenda — losing the extra flab.

“My head often hurts and has not recovered fully. I haven’t been able to work out because of it and I have gained some extra kilos. I need to lose them for my shoot (for Bang Bang), which begins later this month,” says Hrithik, who is still overwhelmed with the success of Krrish 3.

Over the past month, Hrithik has been busy with the promotions of his superhero film. Although the movie has been a massive success, he is not ready to take a breather. "There is no time for a break," he says with a smile. Immediately after wrapping up the next schedule of Bang Bang, he will start work on Agneepath (2012 ) director Karan Malhotra’s next, titled Shuddhi, which also stars Kareena Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Hrithik’s latest film garnered a whopping revenue of `226 crore at the box office joining the other two hits — Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots and Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express — on the list of highest-grossing Bollywood films. “I think breaking records is a good thing. Every film comes with a promise to break records.” says the actor.
