Sajid Khan's latest directorial venture Humshakals made the third highest opening day collection at the box office on Friday, earning Rs 12.5 crore. The film raked in Rs 12.59 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.04 crore on Sunday, taking its total earning to Rs 40.13 crore in three days, according to Bollywood trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.

Despite critics panning the film, Humshakals seems to be raining cash at the ticket windows. Humshakals stars Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor and Esha Gupta in lead roles.

Humshakals collections had earlier picked on Saturday, totalling Rs 25.09 crore in two days. Considering the fact that there are no other Bollywood releases this week, Humshakals is likely to make a decent earning at the box office in the coming days.

Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho is the biggest opener with Rs 17 crore, while Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor-starrer Two States earned Rs 38.06 crore on day one.
