She has had her share of ups and downs in the film industry, but actor Neha Dhupia is only growing stronger with every project she signs. While some reports in the recent past suggest that she is dissatisfied with her place in Bollywood, the actor dismisses this notion.
“I agree that I had said that I am definitely dissatisfied with my career, but that does not mean that I am unhappy. In fact, I am very happy in the place that I am in and I have a fairly comfortable and important existence in my own little life,” says Neha, who will soon be seen sharing screen space with actors Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani and Lisa Haydon in Housefull 3.

“Having said that, I feel that a certain level of dissatisfaction is also important in an actor’s life. Sometimes, even if you have signed the biggest of projects, you want to get more and that can be dissatisfying. So, what I meant was that there is a huge level of dissatisfaction, but it just keeps me going and striving for further growth in my film career,” adds Neha. The 35-year-old actor, who has worked in films like, Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010) and Ungli (2014) feels that there is a long way to go and a lot left to achieve.
“We are no more in that day and age when a girl’s acting career is over once she is on the other side of the 20s or 30s. I see so many successful women around me and I believe that I too have a lot of miles to cover as far as my career is concerned,” she says.
