She made her Bollywood comeback with the film Dangerous Ishhq, last year. And, actor Karisma Kapoor wants to work in a comedy flick next. “I’d love to do a comedy film in the future,” says the actor, who has earlier worked in comedy blockbusters such as Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1999) and Judwaa (1997).
While expressing her views about the changing paradigm of Bollywood, wherein, married actors are leaving a prominent mark in the film industry, Karisma says, “This helps us to experiment with cinema at any age. I also see so many young directors coming into the industry. It is great.”
Her kids and family are on the actor’s mind as of now. Karisma, who was in the city recently to launch Rasna’s new drink ‘Ju-C’ says, “I have been reading a lot of scripts, but as of now my kids are my priority.” When asked about her marriage with businessman Sanjay Kapur, the actor chose not to comment.
But mention sis Kareena Kapoor, and Karisma has a lot to say. “I’m very proud of her. She is very hardworking.
I could not have expected anything else from her,” says the actor, who also bonds well with Kareena’s hubby, actor Saif Ali Khan. “Saif and I are as close as ever,” she concludes.
