When asked if he plans to join politics in near future, Prabhudheva said, "Not at all! I don’t even know films very well. How will I understand politics? It’s not my cup of tea."

Currently, politics is what everyone is talking about. And although stars’ participation in the general elections is at an all-time high throughout the country this year, south India has always seen a number of film stars associating themselves with politics.

So, when we asked actor-director-choreographer

about politics, the 41-year-old said he doesn’t understand it.

Does that mean he has no plans to become a politician?

"Not at all! I don’t even know films very well. How will I understand politics? It’s not my cup of tea," he says with a laugh.

When asked whether he’s been approached to campaign by some political parties, Prabhudheva says, "That is a very normal process (in the election period). In fact, I told them the same thing I told you: how can I do it if I don’t even know films well enough (smiles). I am happy with films right now."

Currently busy wrapping up a movie with Ajay Devgn, his other upcoming ventures are supposed to star big names like Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan. Besides, Prabhudheva is also going to act in the sequel to Remo D’Souza’s dance film, ABCD (Anybody Can Dance; 2013).

"I have completed 80-85 per cent of the shoot with

sir. It’s going to be a very different film for him," says the actor-turned-director, who has just returned to India after a long foreign trip.

"After this, I will work on

sir’s film, which is going to be a powerful-yet-entertaining one," he adds.
