Actor Kalki Koechlin finds every character that she plays a unique experience and new beginning.

"I fall in love with each character that I play. The film I am in right now ends up being the one most dear to me because I can forget all the mistakes that I made in the past and start afresh.”

The 29-year-old actor discusses her characters in the upcoming films, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Ek Thi Daayan, where she plays the roles of a loud, bindaas tomboy and a hippie music teacher respectively. The actor was all praises for co-star Emraan Hashmi. “He is very down to earth for someone who has done so much.”

Apart from working with good co-stars, she’s also enjoying the outdoor life. “I am quite an adventurer, as I like to go surfing, skiing, diving and trekking when I am not working,” says Kalki, who was seen endorsing Grey Goose Style du jour recently in the Capital. When asked how her Hindi skills were shaping up, the actor says, “Kaafi achi ho gayi hai” whereas about her dancing skills she says, “Itni achi nahin hai.” Talking about her stay in Delhi, Kalki says, “It was very short and sweet; I had time to have some really good mutton, so I am happy about that.”
