He wants to shield his one-year-old daughter Imara from the limelight, but actor Imran Khan says that he is aware that his daughter’s life will be as public as his.

“I understand that the reality is that throughout her life, there will be a certain amount of scrutiny on her just by virtue of her being my daughter. Within that, I’d like for her life and childhood to be as unaffected as possible. I’d like her to have a normal childhood. I’m trying to strike a balance,” says Imran Khan.

While it is obvious to think that Imran’s daughter would love to spend time with his uncle, actor Aamir’s three-year-old son Azad, the actor says that this rarely happens. “You would be surprised to know that they hardly spend any time together. Kiran (Rao, Aamir’s wife) and Azad tend to travel a lot and Azad is much older to her. So at this point, she is just walking and picking up things, throwing them and putting them in her mouth. She is not quite ready to play at Azad’s level as yet,” he says.
