Salman Khan was in the Capital to promote his recent flick, Dabangg 2 that hits the screens today, and while promoting the sequel to his 2010 hit, the actor also opened up about plans for a Dabangg 3.
“Before Dabangg 2 was announced, we already had plans for Dabangg 3. Now depening upon how it fares, we’ll look at the third part. If Arbaaz is still interested in working with me (pulling his brother’s leg), he’ll make three and if he is not then I’ll make three,” he said.
So is he looking at venturing into direction? “The day I can pull off acting well, I’ll think about direction,” he said, putting off the question. Prodded more on the third installment in the franchise, he said, “We are planning to go for a prequel and it’ll have both Sonakshi (Sinha) and a new girl. It’ll have flashbacks to show how Chulbul Pandey actually became what he is.”
Talk of Salman and one can’t afford not to ask the 46-year-old about his marriage plans. But Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor ducks this one too. “I know the answer to that question and I have one in my mind, but I won’t answer,” said the actor who recently admitted that his marriage is indeed jinxed.
Today is also supposedly the Doomsday according to Mayan’s calendar. Asked what would be his last wish if the world actually came to an end, Salman joked, “Arbazz will be very upset because this is his first directorial venture and he won’t be able to see the collections.”
Known for his hot headedness and outspokenness, asked if he has now cooled down, he said, “I haven’t cooled down or anything and I’ll never cool down. I’ve just grown up a bit with age and got serious in life.”
