I’m happy being selective: Sagarika Ghatge

The 26-year old is quite excited about her upcoming film Rush, which is releasing later this month. Talking about the feedback, Ghatge says, “I’m very happy that everbody is liking the songs.”

Giving more details about the story of the film that also stars Emraan Hashmi, she says, “The film is about media but my character is the only one which related to it. I play Emraan’s (Hashmi) love interest. How his personal life changes because of my character is what the film revolves around. I have to admit that Emraan is the nicest co-star to work with.”

Quiz her on how her life has changed after working in Chak De India, pat comes the reply, “Life has always been great like this. Not much of a change. It is really humbling to see people appreciating my work. I am happy being selective.”

Further into the conversation, Ghatge reveals that she is open to doing television depending on the kind of work she is offered.

“Whether I will do TV or not will entirely depend on what is offered to me and if I like it or not. I’m concentarting on films for now.” Talking about her love for Delhi, Ghatge, says, “I come to Delhi for work. Also, I have friends here. So, I love coming here.” On the personal front, Ghatge makes it clear that she is single. “I’m not in a relationship at the moment,” she signs off.
