The trailer of Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty-starrer Hero which was launched on Wednesday has received good reviews. The launch took place at a high-profile press conference which was attended by the lead pair, their parents Aditya Pancholi and Suniel Shetty, and Salman Khan.
Sooraj made his way on the stage after producer Salman Khan, filmmaker Subhash Ghai, and director Nikhil Advani were introduced. As soon as Sooraj went up on stage with Athiya, he gave his mentor Salman a tight hug. This made him completely emotional and he started crying profusely.

About the emotional moment, Sooraj said: "This (film) is a dream launch. I don't think I could've gotten better than this. I see a lot of people here who want to be actors. People who are more talented than me, more good looking than me and have a better body than me. But they don't make it (become actors) here and I have made it here. It's a big thing for me."
Father Sooraj, also part of the film, had only this advice for Sooraj: "I told him not to follow me. Every father tells his son to be like him but I don't want him to be like me. If he doesn't follow me then he will become a star."
"I have made so many mistakes in life, my temper and behaviour all this doesn't do any good to anyone. I told him to do the opposite of what I did in my life till now," he said.
He added, "I felt very happy and proud looking at the trailer. This film happened because of Salman Khan and we are grateful to him. We are very happy and excited as this is a big break for him.
Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi are making their debut in Hero.
"We couldn't have asked for anything better. It is a big thing that he is launched by a superstar like Salman."
When asked if his son is soft and emotional in real life, Aditya said, "Yes he is like that in real life too."
The film also marks the debut of Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya.
"She is a very hard working and sweet girl. She is a talented actress. They both look nice together," Aditya said.
Aditya and Salman have acted in films like Baaghi, Bodyguard, Jai Ho and others.
"He is like my brother... we share a close bond since the beginning. I don't meet him often but whenever we meet we connect," the 50-year-old actor added.
Hero, directed by Advani under the banner of Salman Khan Film, is releasing on September 11.
