Highlight Story

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez, 25, is making news for her upcoming film, Muder 2, that is being directed by Mohit Suri and stars Emraan Hashmi opposite her. From the looks of it, this former Miss Sri Lanka, who made her acting debut with fantasy movie Aladin (2009), looks set to give tough competition to the original bare-all actor Mallika Sherawat, who acted in the first installment of Murder. The leggy beauty, who was recently in town to promote Nivea, engages in a free wheeling conversation.

Shooting steamy scenes
I’m comfortable about my body. I have no qualms in flaunting what I have. Also, I play a seductress in the movie, so I had to flaunt my body.

Working with Emraan
Emraan is a superb co-star and very chilled out. We had great chemistry and had fun while shooting. He helped me overcome my awkwardness.

Upcoming projects
I will begin shooting for Housefull 2, that is a multi-starrer, next month. I might also do Raaz 3, though nothing is finalised yet.

Working with the Khans
I want to work with all three of them — Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir. This is surely one of the top things on my agenda.

Turning bold in Murder 2
This character took me out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed it. There may be people who disapprove. But you can’t please everyone.

Comparisons with Mallika
I loved Mallika Sherawat in Murder. But Murder 2 is different. It is about a series of murders unlike Murder, that dealt with extra-marital affair primarily.

Relationship status
I am single at the moment.
