I want to play a psychotic killer, says Alia Bhatt

I'm protective about my friends: Alia Bhatt's selfie with friend Arjun Kapoor.

When Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor visited HT House to promote their film 2 States, they were in the best of moods. They kept on bantering and answering each other's questions. For a few moments, one thought we had all been transported to Koffee with Karan sets!

While Arjun kept butting in with 'tell them na baba, janata jananae ko utsuk hai' each time a question was posed to Alia, the Highway actor too made sure she pulled his leg.

Replying to a query on her dream role, Alia Bhatt said, "I do not have a dream role as such but I want to play a psychotic killer. With a face like mine, you would never expect a killer behind it. Imagine how creepy that would be!"

When Arjun interrupted her saying, "You could have just said I want to do a grey role," Alia replied, "But I want to play a killer."

When the duo arrived, Arjun wanted to answer all questions posed to Alia and expected the same from her. So to a query on life after Highway, Arjun said, "Highway has been a great journey, a personal one." And replying on behalf of Arjun to life after Gunday, Alia said, "I do miss Ranveer a lot. We had this chemistry that was awesome."

Talking about one of her auditions, Alia said that she danced to Baharaa Baharaa (I Hate Love Stories). Arjun quipped, "The director was trying to say 'bahar aa'!"

Directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, 2 States is set to hit theatres on April 18.
