Actor Ali Fazal, who was recently in Goa to shoot his upcoming web series, took some time off to enjoy the city’s attractions. Ali’s grandfather was posted there during his growing up years and as a child, Ali had often spent his vacations in Goa. So, this time, he decided to revisit those places.

“Oh it was too much fun, Goa was always the hideout for me even as a child. I have seen a very different time in this city. The only time in fact I might have seen my whole family together in one place. Because my granddad was given a really cool place to stay, we had access to private beaches and private sports complexes,” says Ali.

Talking about his experiences in Goa, Ali says that Goa was always full of adventures for him. “My granddad used to take us cousins to view some nice Portuguese architecture in the interiors of the city. As a grown up teenager, I had my first New Years party in Goa; on the beachside, barbecues and tango. My granddad’s then secretary Mrs Fernandez was very fond of me and my friends. At a point Dona Paula became our hang out joint . I think I was in love with every woman I saw there. I still remember waltzing into a night club at the age of 12 once just to see what happened in there. And it was a hell of an experience. Vague memories but good times,” says the actor, who was last seen in Khamoshiyan (2015).
