While skin show is usually reserved for women on-screen, actor Kunal Roy Kapoor plans to take a huge step in that direction when he shows off his bottom in Rohan Sippy’s next, Nautanki Saala.

In a scene, Kunal’s character, Mandar Lele, gets hurt and his friend Ram Parmar, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, applies lotion on his bottom. “I am up to some nautanki (mischief) and Ayushmann has to grudgingly lend me a helping hand. In the scene, I get into an accident and he has to step in and help me out,” says Kunal.

The actor is quick to point out that there’s no nudity involved in this scene. “Nothing is shown. We want people to watch the movie and not run away from the theatres, given it’s my backside on the screen,” jokes Kunal, adding, “Unlike the case with actresses, where the audiences get glued to the screen because of skin show, my case might be the opposite. So it’s better that the pants stay on.”So is Kunal copying Ranbir Kapoor’s famous towel-dropping shot from Saawariya (2007)? “I wish I had a body like Ranbir, but I hope people find my body as entertaining as his. It’s my tribute to him in a strange way. It’s basically a funny scene,” says Kunal.
