Ek Villain's new song Awari offers us a lot of 'newness' - the otherwise demure Prachi Desai moves seductively to the sufi beats of the song while Riteish Deshmukh looks so intense that your eyes will water.

The film has already generated a lot of buzz with its first trailer where instead of Ek (one) villain, as promised by the film's title, there appear to be two. Both Riteish and film's main lead Siddharth Malhotra have apparently gone grey and this song takes that story forward.

Aamna Sharif plays the love interest of Riteish and he says in voiceover that if he didn't love her so much, he would have killed her. As the song unfolds, so does this tortured love story in the background. We also see Siddharth as he seems to be following Aamna and Riteish around.

The song is soulful, the beats catchy and the lyrics memorable. After Galliyan and Banjara, this is another worthy addition to Ek Villain album.

Originally by Soch The Band, the song has been sung by Adnan Dhool and Momina Mustehsan and manages to raise our curiosity level regarding the film. The film releases on June 27.

And what about Ms Desai? She scorches the screen and says more with her eyes than the seductive moves. She has tried the sexy avatar earlier but this is her first item song and we have only one word for her - applause!
