Years after depending on tree branches and bird beaks to show kissing scenes on screen, Bollywood, it seems, has come a full circle on this front at least. Now we hear that director Nikhil Advani made Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan "kiss for 24 hours" for a song in his forthcoming film Katti Batti.
The song, called Lip to Lip, was shot using 'stop motion' technology, a first for any Bollywood film. Katti Batti's crew took over three days to shoot the song which only has Kangana and Imran kissing each other. The song, which goes like "French kiss firangi hai, desi kiss hi changi hai", has already touched the 1.3 million hit mark on YouTube.
, Imran and Kangana play a couple who separate after living-in for five years, only to decide to fight all odds to reunite.
In an earlier promotional event, Kangana had said that she decided to accept Katti Batti only because
suggested she should. "After Queen, I was flooded with women-centric scripts and naturally my interest would have been in movies wherein my role has importance. I wouldn't have given a thought to Katti Batti. I trust Salman and his instincts so when he called up and insisted me on at least hearing the story, I had to give it a try. When I did hear the story, I didn't take even a second to say yes. It's an amazing script," she had said.
