Let's face it, it can't get bigger than this. For two big reasons: one, it's the Indian Premier League grand finale, and two, it's Veer vs Zaara this time!
In case, you still haven't figured it, the hit reel couple, Shah Rukh Khan-Preity Zinta, who became a household name after their sizzling chemistry in the 2004 hit Veer Zaara, are battling it out for the IPL 2014 trophy. Talk about marrying India's two big obessesions, bollywood and cricket.
And never to miss the action, tweeple are making the most of the unusual (and welcome) situation. While for some Twitter users, it's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Kings XI Punjab in the IPL final at Bengaluru, for SRK and Preity fans, its Veer vs Zaara (not quite the same as Veer-Zaara).

Twitter-users have spun the hashtag Veer vs Zaara inspired by KKR owner SRK and Punjab owner Preitys' cross-border love saga Veer-Zaara. Some are supporting SRK, others want Preity's team to steal their first win, while many are simply in a mood to enjoy the match and are hoping it doesn't rain!
Here's a sample of how the hashtag Veer Vs Zaara is giving tough competion to the hashtahe #IPLFINAL and dominating the IPL talk on Twitter:
It's Veer vs Zaara ! The clash of the stars, SRK vs Preity.... Dimples VS Dimples!....Lets see who wins, passion or persistence!— Dhiru Mishra (@dhirudelhi) June 1, 2014

A celebrity sighting at an IPL match is not a rare thing. But sometimes you can count on certain celebrities to do the impossible and match up (if not overshadow) the craze of T20. And The 'Baadshah of Bollywood' and his former leading lady are more than capable of it.
So, what we are expecting from this match, apart from the trilling sixes (and some impressive catches and run-outs) are: lots of celebs to cheer their favorites and yes, lots of Bollywood-style dhamaka. After all, it took seven (long) years for this day to come. This is KKR's third and Punjab's first time in the finals, after they beat Chennai Super Kings by 24 runs in an exciting match on Friday.
If you love cricket or bollywood, or, can't get enough of SRK and Preity (or their dimples), there's no reason why you should miss Sunday night's action!
