The Nishikant Kamat directorial, which released on July 23, made an opening collection of Rs 2.25 crore. The collections soared on Saturday to Rs 3.5 crore.
The thriller, which sees Irrfan and Kamat team up again after the award winning Mumbai Meri Jaan, has been lauded by the film fraternity too.
While the film is about taking a stand and shouldering responsibility, it also showcases the bond between a father and son.
