Here’s another Indian film that seems to have won some acclaim in foreign territory. Ishk Actually, starring actors Rajeev Khandelwal, debutant Neha Ahuja and Rayo Bakhirta, which received a warm response at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, is set to open in India on October 25 this year.

Made by first-time director-producer duo Anish Khanna and Sunny Sharma, under the banner Blue Throat Entertainment, the film shows how a person is moulded by life’s experiences. The film, according to the makers, takes a fresh look at relationships on cinema. "Ishk Actually has a modern and clean take on relationships. It has a very different narrative laced with soulful music that gives an emotional connect to every character," shares Sharma.

Asked to elaborate on the film’s plot, Sharma says, "It is a gripping love story about how people fall in love and realise it when it is very late." While Rajeev will be seen in this film after Table No 21, Sharma says, that the audience should look forward to the other actors’ performances as well. "After Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Rayo is back in a completely new avatar, and Neha has surprised us all with her performance," he says.

The trailer and the music of the film are already out.
