Reacting to the sad demise of Bollywood actor

Zohra Sehgal

, filmmaker R Balki said, "Zohraji not being there is a loss to humanity, not just cinema. She was the happiest person in the world. No wonder her performances were so full of joy. Every day that I shot with Zohraji is a day I will always smile remembering. Cheeni Kum couldn't have been made with any other human being. She was 94 and a buddy! She is 102 today, and will never stop being a super happy friend to me whatever happens...including death."

R Balki worked with Zohra on his Amitabh Bachchan-Tabu-starrer film Cheeni Kum.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan said, "I'm not qualified to talk about her. She is too senior and has seen too much. I am not in that was a pleasure working with her. She was so full of life and was very charming. People will say she had a long life, but there is something very frightening about the finality of death whenever it comes. She lived a long life and I hope she enjoyed it to the fullest and that her family can take some solace in that. My deepest condolences. Once more life reminds us that move inexorably forward. Her name is synonymous with the stage and film and she will be remembered as a wonderful actor."
