Actor Disha Patani had bagged an Indo-Chinese project titled Kung Fu Yoga alongside actor Jackie Chan even before she could talk about her Bollywood debut. Sharing her experience of working the Hollywood star, she says Chan is one of the kindest people she has ever met.
“He was like a Santa Claus on the sets and would come there with cookies and chocolates. Everyday he would get so much food for the crew. He would feed everyone and no other actor does that. He would be concerned for everyone’s safety. I think whatever he has got is because a lot of blessings must have gone out in the universe for him,” says Patani.
The actor went on to say that these characteristics are what makes him the person he is today. “He is one of the finest and kindest human beings I have come across. When you meet him, you will understand why he is the Jackie Chan. It’s not just for his work but also the kind of person he is,” she says.
The actor was recently seen playing the role of Priyanka Jha in cricketer MS Dhoni’s biopic. Since she has already shot with a Hollywood crew, she has kept all the doors open when it comes to global cinema.
“I am an actress. My first film was a Telugu film, my second film was Bollywood and third was Indo-Chinese. It doesn’t matter to me where am I going. Language is not a barrier for me, I can go anywhere with my craft so, why not Hollywood,” she asks.
