Caught between two back-to-back schedules, Jacqueline Fernandes is stressed out. After completing the schedule for Mohit Suri’s Murder 2, the actor leaves for a 40-day trip to London to shoot her first comic caper, Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2 this week. Unluckily for her, Murder 2 releases on July 7, which means the actor will miss out on promoting her racy new flick.
“My spirits are dampened, because I am not sure how I am going to make time for promotions of Murder 2,” she groans, adding, “Though I am excited about working with John Abraham and Akshay Kumar in a Bollywood style over-the-top entertainer.” The actor rues that given how important promotions and city tours are in today’s time, it’s an opportunity she doesn’t want to miss. Since her last releases Aladin (2009) and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (2010) didn’t do much for her career, Jacqueline admits she’ s placing her bets on Murder 2."It’s very chaotic right now due to the clash between the shooting dates and promotion time," she reveals, adding, "I have requested both Sajid and Mukeshji to work around my dates." Remembering her time on the set of the original Housefull, she says, "I had a taste of the pranks the Housefull team plays, especially during the shoot of the item song Dhanno… last year. So I’m looking forward to the mad fun. I’ve also been watching a lot of commercial comedies to work on my timing" In the sequel, she will be paired opposite John Abraham and has apparently agreed to sport a bikini.
But Jacqueline plays coy, saying, “Sajid is known to present his actors stylishly. I have already been working on my body and am in a perfectly toned shape to wear hot outfits. My character in the film is loud and fiery with traces of humour.” Taking a cue from workout buddy Bipasha Basu, Jacqueline says, “I would take tips from Bipasha on toning. She was very intense in her workouts and she has a fab body.”
