Jacqueline to replace Shahid Kapoor as Jhalak Dikhla Jaa judge?

Fernandez is likely to come on board as a judge on a TV show that featured Kapoor last year.

Last year, Shahid Kapoor judged season 8 of dance-based reality TV show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. But this year, Shahid will not be part of the show. A few reports that surfaced a couple of weeks ago suggested that he is likely to be replaced by Ranveer Singh or Varun Dhawan.

However, if sources are to be believed, Jacqueline Fernandez is likely to be roped in as the new judge.

An insider reveals, “Jacqueline has showcased her dancing skills in Bollywood songs like Aapka kya hoga (Housefull; 2010), Lat lag gayee (Race 2; 2013), Jaadu ki jhappi (Ramaiya Vastavaiya; 2013) and Jumme ki raat (Kick; 2015). So, the makers of the show thought that she is perfect to be part of the judging panel. They are still working out the details with her.”

The source adds that the actor is likely to come on board. “The show will go on the floors next month. Since Jacqueline won’t be busy with any films at that time, she might accept the offer,” adds the source.
