Actor Taapsee Pannu has shared screen space with big names such as Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan in the past. And now, she is set to join forces with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor for the second time in four years, for her next Bollywood project.
Taapsee had earlier worked with Rishi in her debut film Chashme Baddoor (2013), which was directed by David Dhawan. In her second film with the veteran actor, the 30-year-old will be seen as a lawyer who helps a family reclaim their honour.
The actor says she is eagerly looking forward to a longer on-screen association with the 65-year-old actor this time, unlike in Chashme Baddoor, where she got little screen space opposite him.
“I am looking forward to sharing screen space with him again, and this time, it will be a longer association on-screen. In Chashme Baddoor, I had very little time sharing screen space with Rishi sir, which left me longing for more of it. I am super-thrilled that I am getting that opportunity. He is a very powerful personality, apart from being a very good actor, and it’s an experience to just have him around,” says Taapsee, who will be directed by Anubhav Sinha in this project.
