Rani Mukerji was last seen in Talaash (2012). And after a two-year hiatus, the actor is set to hit the silver screen again in Pradeep Sarkar’s directorial venture, Mardaani. She will be seen playing a cop in the film.
But, are these actresses in a rush to appear on the big screen?

Not really. Kajol, for instance, told us that she is in no hurry to start her project.
"We have locked the script, but we will take it slow as we don’t want to get it wrong," she said in an earlier interaction. In another interview in 2012, Rani said she "would rather sit at home and not work than jump into mediocrity for the sake of just moving ahead".
Ask experts if these actresses still have the potential to make an impact at the box-office, and trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, "It depends on the kind of film. If they fit the bill, then why not? But it’s unfair to judge without even knowing what the films are all about. Rani, for example, must have chosen a powerful role."
