A few days back, Kangana Ranaut and filmmaker Nikhil Advani were discussing the 2011 thriller, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011). But little did the actor know then that the conversation would not end there. Apparently, it was during that discussion that Nikhil told Kangana that he has a script for a "taut thriller" that is in the same space.

It is believed that when Nikhil narrated the script to Kangana, she was "immediately hooked", and agreed to be part of the project. Apparently, she is set to play a no-nonsense police officer in the film that is likely to go on the floors early next year. "It will be a unique role for her. Kangana will work on the mannerisms and her body language extensively before the shoot starts," says an insider.

Nikhil, who "had a super time working" with Kangana on their upcoming film Katti Batti, says he is happy that he will get to work with her again in a genre, which both of them are excited about exploring. "There is very little that I think she can't do, and I'm hoping to challenge her with this role," says Nikhil.
