Dressed in a velvet lehenga encrusted with peacock motifs and a mirrorwork choli, actor Kangana Ranaut walked down the runway for designer Manav Gangwani on Sunday, the final day of India Couture Week 2016.
Post the show and before facing the media, the 29-year-old’s entourage was quick to announce that they wouldn’t entertain any personal questions, but the actor nevertheless ended up talking about her wedding plans.
Kangana wore a velvet lehenga encrusted with peacock motifs and a mirrorwork choli.
Ranaut, who was embroiled in a controversial headlock with actor Hrithik Roshan, revealed that she doesn’t mind walking down the aisle more than once. “You know, when we were getting ready, I told Manav that I’d love to wear this for my first wedding,” she said.
“If one wedding happens, I think many more can,” she was quick to add.
Considering the runway was multi-laned with a long walk ahead of each model, we asked Kangana if she got tired covering all the distance. “The look was so special that I felt like I was totally in character. But I did feel a bit exhausted by the end of it. Plus, with so many people around, I felt intimidated,” she said.
