Kangana voted female performer of the year

National Award-winning actor Kangana Ranaut, who has managed to impress the audience as well as the industry with her versatile roles, has recently topped a rating poll conducted by Ormax Media to become the top female performer of the year. She was picked for her role in Vikas Bahl’s Queen, where her portrayal of the character, Rani, was unanimously appreciated.

Soon after the release of that film, she followed up her performance with Sai Kabir’s Revolver Rani, where she essayed the unusual role of a dacoit-turned-politico. Incidentally, her acting in this film won her the fifth spot too, in the same poll.

“It’s amazing for any actor to know that their body of work is being appreciated and acknowledged. It is great news and is very encouraging,” says Kangana, delighted to be placed first in the poll.
